5 Session Collagraph Workshops

Workshop Dates: Mondays, November 2, 9, 16, 23, 30

Ages 10-15: 4-6 PM

Ages 16 and up: 7-9 PM

$250 all inclusive

This workshop series welcomes novice or experienced printmakers!

Printmaking is a 2 part process. It requires crafting/building a plate and then inking and printing the plate. We will begin by using file folders to cut and layer, creating an image with planar differences and textures. If you have ever made a crayon rubbing of a coin, you will have an understanding of how this process works.

We will be exploring several collagraph techniques with an eye towards experimental printing.

Printmakers will learn how to handle materials and participate in a shop environment. This can lead to wonderful collaborations in printing and expanding on initial concepts.

Space is limited to 4 students per session.
